About the position
A dynamic manufacturing organization based in Alrode, Alberton is looking to employ a Millwright with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Valid Driver’s License
Trade Test (Highly advantageous)
Experience working in a manufacturing or steel industry
3 – 5 years’ experience as a millwright
The Millwright ensures that all machines and equipment is in good running condition
Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
Contribute to the development of maintenance and ensure compliance
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in coordination of project
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Check and approve daily machine checklists
Adherence to health and safety and environmental requirements
