About the position
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Repairing defective machine parts using welding and brazing tools.
- Aligning equipment using specialised tools, such as micrometres and plumb bobs
- Perfoming preventative maintenance procedures and accurately logging maintenance.
- Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities.

- Applying mechanical repair principles and procedures to ensure machinetu functions properly.
- Assembling machinery and equipment before installation using power tools and welding equipment.
- Perfoming diagnostics tests on functioning machinery to ensure its safe.
- Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts necessary for the overhaul, maintenance, or set up of machinery.
- Adjusting complex machinery for new patterns and products.
- Identifying differences in dimensions and shapes of components.
- Disassembling machinery and transporting it to the appropriate storage.
- Cleaning and lubricating machinery.

About The Employer:
Our client based in Bellville is looking to acquire an experience Millwright who will be based at one of their Sites in Bellville South. The successful candidates should possesses the following skills and experience:
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically fit
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Operating heavy duty machinery
- Must be Trade Tested
- Over 5 years working experience as a Millwright
- Experience in assembling and disassembling mechanical equipment and industrial machinery
