About the position
- Installation: Assemble, fit, align, and install new or moved machinery, such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and generators.
- Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnose problems, and conduct repairs, which may involve replacing parts like bearings, seals, and gears.
- Fabrication and assembly: Construct structures for equipment and use a variety of hand and power tools for tasks like welding, threading, and soldering.
- Rigging and moving: Use equipment like hoists, dollies, and cranes to move, position, and secure heavy machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Read schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot equipment and ensure it functions correctly.
- Safety: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and hazards.
- The interested candidate must have 3-5 years experiance with Trade certificate/Red Seal.
Desired Skills:
- Technical skills: Ability to read blueprints
