About the position
We are on the lookout for a battle-hardened Security Support Engineer with a track record of solving perplexing technical conundrums and an unquenchable thirst for all things security. As a Security Support Engineer, you will provide critical technical support to our customers, assisting with deployments, integrations, and offering incident-response-lite guidance. Your expertise will help maintain our exceptional reputation for customer service while ensuring our users continue to benefit from robust security offerings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Curiosity-driven: A natural desire to understand how things work and a keen interest in learning about new systems, applications, and services.
- Technical Skills: Strong networking knowledge, with the ability to work across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, nix) and platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Openstack, GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Scripting/Automation: Some experience in scripting or automating tasks.
- Excellent Communication: Both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with the team and customers.
- Quick Learner: Able to dive into new systems, apps, and services with ease and get up to speed quickly.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deception Hero: Become a product expert in all things. You’ll be the go-to resource for everything related to deployment and management, from a single virtual/cloud handling up to 100,000 tokens.
- Deployment Assistance: Help advise on and assist with deployments across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, nix, VMware, Nutanix, Openstack, GCP, Azure, AWS.
- System Integrations: Set up and troubleshoot integrations (MFS, SSO, Syslog, Webhooks, APIs, etc.) and ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Documentation: Learn about new services and tools daily and write up clear, concise guides on integrations and processes.
