Our client is looking for a talented and strategic Mid-Senior Copy Writer to join our fast-paced Omnichannel Marketing team on a 6-month contract. This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice of The client Hypermarket and The client Clothing, creating impactful campaigns that engage customers, build brand love, and deliver on key commercial objectives.
Purpose of the Role:
As the Mid-Senior Copy Writer, you will be the creative engine behind our digital campaigns. You will be responsible for developing the overarching messaging strategy and crafting compelling copy for all online and offline marketing channels. Your words will drive customer engagement, increase traffic, and boost revenue, ensuring a consistent and powerful brand voice everywhere our customers meet us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content & Messaging Strategy: Develop the core messaging and tonal direction for integrated marketing campaigns across website, social media, email, PR, and in-store collateral.
- Website Copy: Write persuasive and SEO-informed copy for homepage banners, campaign landing pages, strip banners, and product descriptions.
- Social & Digital Content: Craft engaging copy for all organic and paid social media content (posts, stories, ads), influencer briefs, and paid media campaigns.
- Email Marketing: Write compelling subject lines and body copy for email marketing campaigns designed to nurture and convert our customer base.
- Cross-Channel Consistency: Ensure a consistent brand voice and message across all customer touchpoints, from digital to in-store events.
- Collaboration & Briefing: Work closely with the Digital Campaign Manager, designers, agencies, and key stakeholders (Merchandising, Category Management) to bring creative campaigns to life.
- Performance & Optimisation: Use performance data and insights to refine and optimise copy for maximum engagement and conversion.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably within a retail, e-commerce, or agency environment.
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of copywriting work across digital channels (social, web, email).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and how copy influences customer journey and conversion.
- Experience in adapting tone of voice for different target audiences and marketing objectives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Experience with influencer marketing, PR communication, and event collateral is a strong advantage.
