Job Title: Metallurgical Engineer
Location: Mpumalanga, Mining Industry
Position Summary:
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join their team in Mpumalanga within the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing of metals from ore, conducting tests and analysis to ensure quality control, and developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity in metal extraction and refinement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis to determine the best methods for processing metals from ore
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in metal extraction and refinement
- Monitor and evaluate metallurgical processes to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and mining personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues in metallurgical processes
- Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of metallurgical processes
- Conduct research and experiments to identify new methods for extracting and refining metals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience working in the mining industry, specifically in metal extraction and refinement
- Strong knowledge of metallurgical processes, including smelting, refining, and extraction techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Benefits:
