JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Administration
- Manage and administer the sample account and physical product range, ensuring strict alignment with budget and accountability of all samples.
- Oversee sample range boards, guaranteeing presentation readiness for internal reviews and external showcases.
- Coordinate the flow of samples between merchandise, marketing, and visual merchandising teams, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Buying, Creative Planning, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless brand execution.
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Source, liaise, and negotiate pricing and lead times for brand-right products that reflect the luxury positioning of 1896 & Bespoke Jewellery.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, both locally and internationally, to secure best practice sourcing, short lead times, and profitable margins.
- Review ranges and benchmark pricing against current market conditions to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Interpret CAD designs to support accurate sourcing, costing, and product development.
Order Management
- Raise and manage orders on time, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production schedules.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery timelines.
- Handle bespoke and customization orders across TFG Jewellery brands. Costing and raising orders, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations for custom pieces.
- Track and monitor order progress, proactively resolving issues to maintain smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in bespoke high end jewellery required.
- Technical jewellery knowledge, including expertise in metal types and precious gemstones.
- Proven ability to confidently source, cost, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Strong understanding of current market conditions, with the ability to benchmark pricing and assess ranges effectively.
- Competence in interpreting CAD designs to support product development and sourcing.
- Experience in order management, including raising orders, supplier negotiation, and bespoke order costing.
- Experience working with both local and international suppliers, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to brand standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and accountability.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams.
