About the position
A leading diagnostic laboratory is looking for a skilled Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist to join its laboratory team and contribute to delivering accurate, reliable and timely diagnostic results.
Requirements:
? Relevant qualification in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
? Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), where applicable to the role.
? Previous experience in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory environment will be advantageous.
? Knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies, quality control and specimen handling procedures.
? Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.
? Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
? Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
? Commitment to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality and patient safety.
