Key Responsibilities:

Scientific Research & Protocol Management

• Design and lead preclinical and clinical research projects in line with ICH-GCP and regulatory standards
• Prepare robust research protocols, study designs, and statistical analysis plans
• Conduct in-depth literature reviews and gap analyses to inform study direction
• Ensure full compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements

AI & Data Science Integration
- Innovate clinical protocols using AI tools and methodologies
- Apply predictive modelling and data mining for drug target identification
- Use natural language processing (NLP) for literature mining and computer vision for image analysis
- Translate data insights into actionable research strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to align research with strategic objectives
- Present findings to internal stakeholders and external scientific forums
- Contribute to publications and patent applications

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, or Biomedical Scientist qualification essential
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical research preferred
- Working experience within an R&D Pharma environment - e.g. NPD
- Exposure to AI in research settings is a strong plus

Skills & Competencies- Critical and analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset- Excellent communication and scientific writing skills- Strong data interpretation and research management abilities- Collaborative, curious, and results-oriented

Additional Info:- Based in-office with occasional local travel- Flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary- Valid driver's license and own transport required
