About the position
Leading supplier of medical / surgical devices requires an experienced Medical Sales Rep for the Pretoria region. Individuals who apply must live in Pretoria area and be fluent in Engilsh and Afrikaans.
Develop & understand how to maintain and develop current business and seeking new business in Pretoria territory
Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range
Attending theatre cases to learn and develop and to apply this learning in a theatre environment and when ready give technical support in the operating theatre when required
Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE
Prepare, review and update surgeon preference lists including quotes
Develop knowledge of how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
Acquire the skill to lead the development of existing and new accounts
Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars and theatre staff
Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in annual sales plan for the territory
Requirements:
BSc Degree in Human Movement Science / Health Sciences / Human Anatomy / Sports Science / Physiotherapist / Biokineticist etc
Minimum of 3 - 6 years working experience as a Medical Device Sales Representative or proven industry experience with above the qualification
CRICE Certified
Fluency in Afrikaans and English a necessity
A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required
Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills
Valid code 08 driver’s license & own reliable vehicle
Able to work afterhours
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook
Must be fully vaccinated against Hepatitis B (or start process at start of employment)
Must reside in Pretoria
