About the position
Leading pharmaceutical company requires a Medical Sales Rep for JHB North, East Rand and Mpumalanga territory. Anesthetics portfolio experience and existing relationships with KOL is essential.
Purpose of the Role
To call on targeted specialists in the specified therapeutic area to promote the use of the company’s products.
Build rapport with all specialists, nursing staff and pharmacists.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Science Degree / Diploma or similar.
Minimum 3-5 years proven successful track record in pharmaceutical industry will be required, in hospital / specialist setting, within the anesthetic arena.
Strong understanding of anesthetics within the clinical environment.
Established relationships with KOLs within Johannesburg North, East Rand Mpumalanga territory.
Duties
Implementation of programs and strategies to relevant customer base
Facilitate and generate orders
Achieve all established sales objectives as well as measure performance against objectives
Continuous targeting and updating of customer database
Plan and organize your territory to achieve optimal outcome
Be aware of market trends and competitor activity
Research, analyze, plan and recommend new business opportunities
Manage budgets and expenses
Build and maintain relationships at all levels:
Arrange CME meetings, congresses etc.
