About the position
Our client, a leading medical device company, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Medical Device / Theatre Sales Representative to join their team in Johannesburg.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric).
Relevant tertiary qualification in a medical, scientific, or healthcare-related field
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in medical device sales.
Theatre experience is essential.
CRICE certification advantageous
Experience calling on surgeons, theatre staff, hospitals, and healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of medical devices used in theatre environments.
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel within the allocated territory and attend theatre cases when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell the company's medical device portfolio to hospitals, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
Provide clinical and technical support during surgical procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement departments, and hospital management.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational presentations.
Ensure product availability and coordinate stock requirements for theatre cases.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and territory plans.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
