Our client in the business technology media industry seeks a driven Media Sales Representative to grow revenue by selling advertising space across digital platforms.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of telesales experience in the media industry
- Proven background in advertising, digital marketing, or media space sales
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and presentable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Minimum requirement:
- Matric.
- Experience within the advertising, digital marketing, or media space sales.
- Cold calling experience.
- Hunter personality always seeking out opportunities to meet targets.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Presentable appearance with strong client relationships and building skills.
Responsibilities :
- Drive sales of online advertising and PR solutions, meeting a monthly sales target of R250,000.
- Generate new business through proactive lead sourcing, telesales, and at least 20 client meetings (online) per week.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate deals within pricing structures, and ensure client satisfaction with agreed deliverables.
- Maintain accurate client records, update sales activity and performance data regularly.
- Provide monthly client reports, respond to queries promptly, and deliver professional, courteous service at all times.
- Collaborate with the sales team, share market insights, and participate in weekly progress meetings.
- Uphold company policies, confidentiality, and professionalism in all business dealings.
