About the position
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a data-driven Media Planning Strategist based at the client in CBD.
Media Strategy Development:
- Develop strategic media plans that align with client or brand objectives.
- Conduct audience research and identify key insights to inform media channel selection.
- Create multi-channel media plans, integrating traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (social, search, display, programmatic) media.
Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Work with internal teams and media partners to execute media plans effectively.
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for campaign success.
- Optimize media placements based on performance data and insights.
- Budget & Investment Management:
- Allocate and manage media budgets across channels for maximum ROI.
- Provide cost estimates, negotiate media rates, and ensure efficient spend allocation.
Data & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media campaign performance.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and DSP platforms to assess impact.
- Recommend optimizations based on data insights and A/B testing results.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with creative teams to align messaging with media strategy.
- Partner with media buyers, digital strategists, and data analysts to enhance performance.
- Present media recommendations and performance reports to clients or internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in media planning, digital marketing, or advertising.
- Strong knowledge of media planning tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs).
- Experience working with cross-channel media campaigns (TV, digital, OOH, social, programmatic).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing media budgets and negotiations.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics platforms.
- Agency experience preferred but not required.
