Media Buyer (Onsite - George)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

Are you a savvy negotiator with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for media? Our client is looking for a Media Buyer to join their dynamic team and take charge of planning, negotiating, booking, and managing advertising placements across all media channels. As a Media Buyer, you’ll be the driving force behind making sure clients’ campaigns run smoothly, effectively, and cost-efficiently. From securing prime advertising spots to analysing performance and maximizing ROI, you’ll be at the heart of every media decision.

DUTIES:

Strategic Buying & Booking

• End-to-end media buying following internal buying processes
• Manage bookings across digital, print, OOH, TV, and more
• Ensure timely approvals and documentation with media owners

Negotiation & Relationship Building

• Secure competitive rates and added value for clients
• Maintain strong relationships with media vendors
• Handle compensation for non-placement or misplacement

Budget & Billing Management

• Track budgets and input into billing systems
• Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with internal timelines
• Update planners with monthly reports and budget reconciliations

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track campaign performance and respond to issues in real-time
• Provide detailed reporting, tear sheets, site bibles, and post-campaign analysis
• Maintain accurate digital filing and campaign documentation

 REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in  Media Buying
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

ATTRIBUTES:

• Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
