MEDIA & SPONSORSHIP EXECUTIVE
Location: Sandton, Gauteng
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- A relevant three-year university degree preferred.
- 3–5 years’ experience in sponsorship or key account management.
- Proven sponsorship or account management experience.
- A hobby in golf would be advantageous.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
To manage allocated media and sponsorship partners, ensuring delivery of contracted ROI through strategic campaigns and activations.
The role involves developing and implementing sponsorship opportunities, liaising with stakeholders, managing multi-channel media content, presenting to clients, and providing detailed reporting.
The Executive builds and maintains strong client relationships, supports business growth, and drives measurable value across all media platforms while working independently and under pressure.
Minimum requirements:
- A relevant three-year university degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in sponsorship or key account management is preferred.
- Experience in client or account management.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- An active interest in cycling and/or golf.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of personality types.
- Strong time management and administrative skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and easily.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Act as the custodian and first point of contact for allocated media and sponsorship partners.
- Understand each assigned account’s business goals and objectives to provide ideas and recommendations to grow their business.
- Generate ideas for new sponsorship opportunities, including retail promotions, events, website and media features, signage, and community relations programmes.
- Conceive, develop, and implement successful campaigns that deliver quantifiable value for media and sponsorship partners.
- Present information effectively to sponsors and internal representatives, responding to questions from managers, clients, and the general public.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple social media channels.
- Execute and manage specific media content across multiple channels, including brand websites, social media, and in-store TV.
- Draft a range of written content, including press releases, statements, social media posts, and case studies.
- Take responsibility for liaising with all relevant MoreCorp business unit heads regarding branding elements, including design, production, and implementation.
- Manage the implementation of media elements across all platforms to deliver measurable and predetermined ROI.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports and presentations for allocated sponsorship partners.
- Implement and manage ad hoc media campaigns.
