About the position

Red EmberRecruitment is recruiting for Mechanical Mechatronic Engineer the ideal candidate will play a key role in weapon development and production, utilising CAD (SolidWorks) and working on existing projects while taking ownership of assigned tasks. The role also involves project management responsibilities, ensuring smooth execution and collaboration across teams.

RequirementsResponsibilities and duties will include

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for Weapons and their components.
  
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory
  
• standards.
  
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical schematics using CAD software.
  
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, including assembly instructions, parts lists, and technical
  
• specifications.
  
• Ensure that all designs meet the company’s quality standards and are produced within project timelines.
  
• Perform design analysis, including tolerance checks, stress analysis, and material selection.
  
• Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations to support project development.

Key Qualifications

• Type of qualification: Engineering Degree
  
• 2 + Years of experience required
  
• Proficiency in certain applications/computer programmes
  
• Essential: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA.
  
• Preferred: Simulation software (MSC One, Ansys)
  
• Sound knowledge of: Design and Implementation thereof
