Job description
- The Maintenance Technician must demonstrate machanical skills and trouble shooting abilities.
- Is able to follow a preventive and maintenance program for CNC machines;
- Documentation and administration, with relevant information and their maintenance program, including failures and repair adjustments;
- Has good knowledge of all equipments used, is inventive and involved in new machinery instalments, and has ability to quickly adapt with new skills and knowledge needed for new technologies;
- Has a natural interest in new technologies and reporting, which will support in different domains such as cataloguing and purchasing;
- Owns good knowledge on safety regulations and the applicable practices and procedures;
- Informs and instructs the operators in an open and constructive way on equipment and machines.
- Physical strength, stamina to pick up heavy objects.
- Fork lift license an added advantage
Job requirements
Education:
- Matriculation Certificate
- Millwright Trade Qualification
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing area
- Knowledge of different machines (Okuma, Haas, Victor, Doosan) and controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Mazak)
- Drive for organization, initiative, professionalization and planning
- Independent, stress resistant problem-solver
- Good communication skills, building long term internal and external relationships
- Interested in working in a team oriented environment
- Flexible mindset, open for overtime when needed and availability to respond in case of callouts
