You're not just a mechanical engineer-you're a leader in both design and estimation. You thrive in high-pressure environments where meeting deadlines is non-negotiable, and you have a keen eye for both technical details and cost estimation. If you love orchestrating the full design-to-tender process and ensuring everything runs smoothly, this is for you.
You'll take charge of mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems) while also leading the estimation process. Your focus will be ensuring that all tenders are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. You'll prepare BOQs, manage cost estimations, and work closely with procurement to source the best suppliers. Your role will also involve quality checks, technical documentation, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams to deliver competitive project bids.

You'll need a B.Eng (Mechanical) degree and be registered as a Pr. Eng (ECSA) professional. With 5+ years' experience, you have a deep understanding of mechanical design for commercial buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. You're well-versed in South African building codes and mechanical standards and have experience in cost estimation, BOQs, and tender preparation. Ability to lead and coordinate across multiple teams and manage the full tender process
