Mechanical Draughtsman

About the position

A dynamic engineering firm based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Draughtsman with 3 -5 years’ experience working in engineering, mining or manufacturing sector
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Draughting Certificate, Diploma or National Diploma Mechanical Engineering
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
• Advanced knowledge of Inventor (Preferred) or Solidworks, SolidEdge or Fusion 360
• Create accurate 3D models(Essential)
• Create manufacturing drawings
• Create QRL’s
• Maintain drawing information
• Follow Engineering processes based on global best practices and relevant international standards (ISO 9001, OHS Act and MHS Act of SA policies and procedures)
• Follow Drawing Office Procedure
• Prototype development according to Engineering inputs
