Mechanical Designer (Packaging Equipment)

About the position

Our client, a well-established and progressive engineering/fabrication company, based in Paarl, seeks to employ an efficient, detailed mechanical machine designer, with a good background in steam and pressure equipment, to join their progressive design team
 
Please note that we are specifically seeking a candidate with a background in the food and beverage or steam/pressure design, using Pro-Engineer or CREO
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

•  You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 3-5 years experience in design and draughting of machinery used in the FMCG sector, specifically in packaging or related
• You will have solid experience in manufacturing process, demonstrate the ability to produce accurate and high quality designs, as well as detailing and creating BOMs and facilitating the manufacturing process.
• You must be a team player, be creative and accurate in your calculations, as well as being a good commutator
• You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
• Residence in the Winelands and surrounding areas will receive preference.
