About the position

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer eager to contribute to the full product lifecycle - from concept modelling to fabrication and final assembly - using SolidWorks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for armoured vehicles
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and assembly instructions using SolidWorks
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical challenges and optimize designs
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement
• Ensure compliance with military and industry standards in design and documentation
• Support prototype builds and product testing

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design (internships or university projects in vehicle/mechanical systems a plus)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
