Location: Alberton, Gauteng

Basic Salary: Negotiable from R28K to R37K per month based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Job Description

• Design new laboratory equipment and products using SolidWorks software.
• Create accurate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings.
• Prepare and update clear Bills of Materials for all new designs.
• Work with sheet metal design and standard workshop machining processes.
• Select suitable metals, steels, and plastics for each equipment part.
• Check fitting tolerances so all parts fit together smoothly during assembly.
• Speak with suppliers and customers to discuss technical requirements clearly.
• Review all technical designs carefully before sending them to the factory floor.

 
What You Need to Apply

• Practical proficiency in SolidWorks software for 3D modeling and drawings.
• Good basic understanding of sheet metal design and manufacturing methods.
• Good understanding of industrial materials like metals and plastics.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Solid computer literacy skills including basic MS Office programs.
• A positive, dynamic attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
