About the position
Vacancy exists for a Mechanical Design Engineer at the Rosslyn plant of a multinational manufacturer.
Minimum Requirements
Matric
National Diploma / B Tech / Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years experience as mechanical design engineer in a manufacturing environment
Proficient on SolidWorks
Overview of position
- Design and modify mechanical components.
- Convert concepts into detailed 2D drawings and 3D Cad models.
- Reverse engineering on customer supplied components and drawings for redesign or reproduction purposes.
- Develop technical specifications and user requirements.
