Industrial Mechanic - Day Shift | Rumst, Belgium A reputable industrial manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Mechanic to support its day shift operations at its site in Rumst. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role ideal for a proactive individual with a strong mechanical background and experience working in high-output production environments. Role Overview: As part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and components across production lines. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, fabricating parts, and contributing to ongoing reliability and efficiency improvements. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on industrial machinery. Fabricate or adjust machine parts based on technical drawings. Apply knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding (semi-automatic and electrode). Provide technical feedback to production teams and team leaders. Contribute to safety and efficiency through active participation in improvement initiatives. Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and site standards. Requirements: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical maintenance. Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems. Experience in welding, turning, and milling is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team. Willingness to relocate to Belgium Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rugged industrial environment.
