Mathematics & Data Analytics Lecturer (Contract) (East London)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic Academic Institute seeks to employ the services of a Mathematics & Data Analytics Lecturer as an Independent Contractor based at its East London campus. You will lecture Humanities-related modules on a part-time basis while assisting with administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department. Applicants will require a suitable Honours Degree with relevant lecturing work experience and the necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes and relevant research experience.

DUTIES:
Modules to be lectured: Mathematical Problem-solving and Reasoning, Mathematics for Economics, Data Analytics, Power BI and Econometrics

• General Administration.
• Set and mark assessments.
• Preparation of notes and additional study materials.
• Quality Assurance.
• Management of At-risk students.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications -

• Relevant Honours Degree.

Experience/Skills -

• Relevant lecturing experience.
• Necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes.
• Relevant research experience.
