About the position
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving of raw materials and storage
- Accordingly instruct/co-ordinate with drivers with issuing paper in Production
- Arranging of warehouse, including space optimisation
- Ensuring all reels (full and part) have labels and manage accordingly.
- Cycle counting in raw material, finished goods and printed material.
- Assisting in Finished Goods area when Distribution Supervisor not available
- Pre-receipting raw material when Engineering Storeman not available
- Getting involved in 6 monthly and annual stock counts.
- Any other ad-hoc duties within the supply chain/logistics area.
- Ensures that the correct material and quantity is available to meet the production program.
- Issues Non-Conformance if above is out of specification or not suitable for production.
- All incoming Material is to be inspected visually for Quality, if defects appear report to Supply Chain Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in sales/supply chain/logistics or similar
- Computer literate - be proficient in MS Office
- Be a driven individual with a passion for excellence, disciplined, self-motivated and proactive.
- Have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under minimal supervision.
- Have strong administration and organization skills.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well at all levels.
- Have the ability and experience to work in a cross-functional team environment.
RUMUNERATION
R15,000 (Total Cost To Company)
