About the position

DBN000134 - Marketing Manager– Upper Highway KZN

Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the full marketing function, assuming responsibility to meet agreed marketing / sales / foot count targets and standards in a retail shopping centre. To assist the team within the centre management environment.


Required Qualifications: 

  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent in Marketing or similar discipline.
  • Must have shopping centre or mall Marketing Management experience – not negotiable

Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • 5- 10 years of working experience at a Senior level in marketing
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and communications.
  • Conceptualize and propose Marketing Strategy for the Mall.
  • Manage and update the company's Google Business profile.
  • Manage website updates.
  • Manage iPoint updates.
  • Manage communications with digital agencies.
  • Attend to public queries / complaints/ security issues that were escalated to this level.
  • Manage and co-ordinate internal & external advertising suppliers.
