About the position

Dutoit Agri is involved in the cultivation, packing and marketing of deciduous fruit and vegetables in the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape. This is a new position based in Ceres.

Marketing Manager: Pome and/or Stone Fruit

As marketing manager, the incumbent will report to the Commercial Director: Fruit and will play a crucial role in the marketing and sales of fruit. Responsibilities include the management of marketing campaigns, and to ensure effective communication with clients and internal divisions.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined, energetic person who wishes to establish a career in marketing and who can contribute to the expansion of the DUTOIT brand.

Further requirements are:

• a relevant marketing qualification.
• proven knowledge of fruit. at least three years' marketing experience, including an understanding of international markets and the associated logistical processes.
• above average communication skills (specially in English) and the ability to maintain sound interpersonal relationships.
• The incumbent must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
