Marketing Assistant Internship (Fixed-Term Contract) – Packaging Industry
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Graduate eager to break into the dynamic world of packaging? We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant Intern to join our team on a fixed-term, 12 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative industry with exposure to product branding, customer engagement, and social media marketing.
As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the Marketing team with a variety of exciting tasks aimed at promoting our packaging solutions. From social media content to marketing campaigns, you’ll help communicate our brand message and grow our presence in the packaging sector.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms
• Support marketing campaigns targeting clients in the FMCG, personal care, and premier packaging sectors
• Conduct research and competitor analysis relevant to the packaging industry
• Help design promotional materials and product brochures
• Assist with internal communication and event coordination
• Maintain and update databases, reports, and marketing records

Requirements:

• Marketing Degree or Diploma (Essential)
• Proficient in Afrikaans and English (Essential – written and spoken)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with design-related tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar)
• Passion for marketing and interest in the packaging or manufacturing sector
• Energetic, organised, and eager to learn.
