Marketing Assistant (4-Month Temp Gig)
Do you like juggling creative projects, social media, and hands-on tasks? Our client is looking for a go-getter Marketing Assistant to join the team for a 4-month contract.
The Basics
- Where: Ottery (Heads up: public transport is limited, so reliable private transport is ideal)
- When: 4 months, temporary contract
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Vibe: Fast-paced and busy
What You’ll Be Up To
- Design & Content: Create eye-catching artwork for retailer leaflets (print + digital) using Canva and our brand assets
- Social Media: Plan and post engaging content on Instagram and TikTok, keep the community buzzing, and manage DMs
- Admin & Data: Build smart spreadsheets in Excel, draft polished docs in Word, and keep things organized
- PR Fun: Source packaging and physically put together PR boxes for distribution
Who We’re Looking For
Looking for someone who spots what needs doing and jumps right in — no waiting around.
- Experience: At least 2 years in an office-based role
- Tech Skills: Confident with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) — you should be able to build functional spreadsheets from scratch
- Design Flair: Solid Canva experience with a portfolio of professional work
- Social Media Savvy: You live and breathe Instagram and TikTok trends, plus know your way around scheduling tools
- Personality: Organized, adaptable, and happy to roll up your sleeves for practical tasks — a true self-starter
