Marketing and Design Assistant (Temp)

About the position

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, developing, managing and executing all marketing campaigns, events and product launches with sales, timeously and effectively from initial idea through to execution and review.
• Assist in the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
• Assist in the planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
• Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns - social media, blogs, AdWords and digital media.
• Assist with the management of company websites
• Support the use of marketing automation to create campaigns, generate & track responses/leads
• To assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, newsletters, product sheets etc.
• Managing and developing email lists for various client and leads
• Assist with the planning and executing of prospect and customer events
• Assist with database management
• Liaise with customers and partners
• Any other duties deemed appropriate through discussion with the Marketing Manager

Education & Experience

• Matric plus a tertiary marketing specific diploma or degree
• Design ability
• MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, Adobe illustrator & PowerPoint
