Marketing and Branding Specialist

About the position

Our client, a prestigious packaging, labelling and applications equipment company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Marketing and Branding Specialist, with a solid background in working within the technical, manufacturing and engineering sector, to join their team in Germiston.
 
It is to be noted that the role is to be based in Germiston but the company will be relocating to Linbro Park in the upcoming months.
Please note that this role is not suited to candidates from the advertising or commercial sector, but rather suited to candidates who have managed marketing, brand awareness and social media management, within the engineering, construction or manufacturing sector.
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

•  You will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or Public Relations, coupled with 3-5 years experience in traditional marketing and communication campaigns, as well as brand awareness, social media, internal notice boards and communication
• In addition, you will have experience in managing promotional items, campaigns, events and related vendors, as well as managing corporate wear, new employee welcoming and orientation, etc
• You will have expertise in drafting presentations, coordinating and attending trade shows, expos, coordinating photoshoots, promotional videos and managing the company website and related analytics.
• You will have a passion for market research and creating competitive campaigns, as well as studying the results and realigning.
• Your administration skills and ability to carefully manage the allotted annual budget is essential.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
