About the position

We're Hiring: Marketing & Communication Manager

We are sourcing on behalf of a leading cultural organisation for a Marketing & Communication Manager, to be based at one of their theatres. This is a chance to play a central role in shaping the theatre's visibility, audience engagement, and community impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and deliver innovative marketing & communications campaigns.
  • Build the theatre's brand as a premier cultural hub.
  • Drive digital, social media, PR, and audience development strategies.
  • Engage diverse communities and cultural tourism markets.
  • Champion the creative and performing arts sector.

What You Must Have:

  • 5+ years' experience in marketing & communications (arts/entertainment an advantage).
  • Strong track record in digital marketing & integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, content creation & public engagement skills.
  • Stakeholder & community engagement expertise in diverse environments.
  • Knowledge of Johannesburg's cultural and creative landscape.
  • Creative, resourceful, passionate about the arts, with leadership flair.
