Rosebank, permanent office based
Salary R35k with incentive of 5% of meetings set up and transaction concluded

One of South Africa's leading office and industrial real estate consultancies is looking for a Head of Research & BD to join their Advisory Team soonest!

As Research & BD Lead you will be conducting comprehensive market research to identify opportunities and trends in the real estate and property advisory industry; the business development part will follow on from this. New role with huge scope and potential for the right property passionate specialist!

Position highlights include:

• Conduct comprehensive research for different sector industries
• Compile and maintain a database of relevant market data
• Assist in building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing relevant market information.
• Support client engagement efforts through effective communication, presentations, and timely response to inquiries.
• Work closely with senior management to develop and implement a business development strategies aligned with the market data
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients and investors.
• Ensure that proposals are well-researched, data-driven, and tailored to meet the specific needs of the target audience.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations.

Preferred requirements:

• Relevant degree in Commerce/ property
• 5 years' experience broking/ researching and understanding the property sector
• Self-starter, ambitious and driven to succeed
• Great attention to detail
• Quality property network to tap into
• Good at building relations and understanding client needs
• Resourceful researcher, willing to open doors and explore
