Market Analyst & Client Success Coordinator

Location: Parktown, Gauteng | Permanent

Are you naturally curious, commercially minded and exceptional at building strong client relationships?

We are looking for a sharp, highly organised professional who can turn market intelligence into meaningful business opportunities while ensuring clients receive a consistently excellent experience. This multifaceted role combines market research, business development support, client relationship coordination and executive assistance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Research markets, industries, competitors and regulatory developments, translating your findings into clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Prepare market briefs, country overviews, reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Maintain and develop the prospect and client database, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Monitor market-entry plans, strategic milestones and potential risks.
  • Assist with market sizing, pricing schedules and revenue modelling.
  • Research prospective clients, sectors and key decision-makers ahead of meetings.
  • Prepare professional meeting packs, agendas, proposals, tenders and presentations.
  • Attend selected client meetings, document key discussions and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Keep CRM records and client contact reports accurate and up to date.
  • Strengthen client retention through proactive engagement, satisfaction monitoring and the prompt resolution of service queries.
  • Identify accounts that may require additional attention before concerns escalate.
  • Coordinate the smooth handover of new clients to internal delivery teams.
  • Support relationships with international partners, professional bodies and accreditation stakeholders.
  • Manage the Vice Principal’s diary, meetings and travel arrangements, including travel across borders and time zones.
  • Draft and quality-check professional correspondence and business documentation.
  • Maintain organised filing, document control and version management.
What you’ll need - none negotiable requirements for the role

  • Matric.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Development Studies or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years’ relevant experience in market research, business development support, client relationship management, key-account support or a comparable analytical and client-facing position.
  • Strong research and analytical ability, with the confidence to gather, verify and interpret information from reliable primary sources.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, including strong report, proposal and presentation-writing skills.
  • Sound business numeracy.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
It would be advantageous if you have

  • Knowledge of South Africa’s post-school education and training environment and NQF-aligned qualifications.
  • An understanding of skills levies, qualification authorities, funding structures or Continuing Professional Development mechanisms.
  • Exposure to banking, financial services, insurance or real estate.
  • Experience supporting an executive or senior leader.
  • Experience preparing tenders, client proposals, management reports and presentations.
  • Worked with international clients, cross-border partners or teams operating across different time zones.
  • Familiarity with online research tools and Learning Management Systems.

You’re also a collaborative team player who enjoys solving problems and finding smarter ways of working.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime when required.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Remuneration: Market-related and open for discussion.
