About the position
Are you a driven communicator with a passion for marketing and client engagement? Our client, a leading business in their sector, is looking for a Marketing Associate (Telemarketer) to join their dynamic team in the Eastern Suburbs, Western Cape.
Role Overview:
As a Marketing Associate, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by reaching out to prospective clients, promoting products/services, and building lasting customer relationships. You will be part of a vibrant team that values initiative, professionalism, and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound telephone marketing to prospective and existing clients
- Promote and explain product offerings clearly and persuasively
- Negotiate with clients to close deals and drive conversions
- Support digital marketing campaigns through basic social media engagement
- Maintain accurate records of calls and customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing strategies
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- Certificate in Marketing or Sales – advantageous
- 2–3 years of proven experience in direct telephone marketing
- Strong negotiation skills and client relationship management
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems)
