About the position
A client of ours is urgently looking for a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join their team! The Manufacturing Cost Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial management the company by analysing and reporting on various aspects of production costs. This position involves monitoring, recording, and analysing all costs associated with the manufacturing process to ensure accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, SAICA) is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems - Sage 200 Evolution v9.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
