Why This Role Matters
As our Managing Partner – Kenya, you will establish and lead our operations in the region, driving high-value partnerships, enterprise sales, and learning innovation. You’ll collaborate closely with local banks, telcos, insurers, professional bodies, and regulators to bring transformative learning experiences to the market.
Your Mission
- Launch and lead our Kenyan learning and growth operation—serving enterprises, financial institutions, and professionals.
- Build and lead a country team that includes business development, client solutions, and learning delivery.
- Localize our portfolio of leadership, certification, and financial planning programs for the Kenyan market.
- Forge partnerships with banks, fintechs, regulators (e.g. RBA, CMA, IRA, TVETA), SACCOS, and industry bodies like KEPSA and KASNEB.
- Collaborate with group product teams to adapt learning to Kenya’s economic development, SME ecosystem, and workforce upskilling needs.
- Drive sales across sectors including banking, insurance, fintech, and government-funded training programs.
Ideal Experience
- 12–15+ years in executive or business development roles in financial services, professional education, or enterprise solutions.
- Proven record of enterprise sales, L&D program implementation, or public-private partnerships.
- Understanding of TVET, SACCO, insurance, and banking channels in Kenya.
- Exposure to or leadership in skills development, national capacity-building, or certification models (e.g., CFP®, CISI, KASNEB, CPA, insurance licenses).
- Strong stakeholder engagement—government, regulators, educational bodies.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, MPhil, or equivalent postgraduate degree in Finance, Education, Business or Development.
- Background in financial planning, adult learning, or EdTech a plus.
- Registered with or knowledgeable about regulators (e.g. IRA, CMA, KNQA).
