About the position
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial results-driven, operationally hands-on CEO with distribution or product supply experience. Strong commercial instincts, knowledge and experience with pricing, stock ratios, customer engagement and the ability to drive aggressive growth, global expansion, and a high-performance culture, will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive market expansion whilst delivering YoY revenue growth
- Champion the company's brand and customer-centricity
- Build strong client, supplier, and partner relationships
- Shape product range and pricing strategy
- Launch new country operations/partnerships annually
- Personally lead major account acquisitions and market entries
- Maintain stock turns across product lines
- Manage inventory, logistics, warehousing, and bottlenecks
- Set and monitor gross profit targets
- Oversee new product launches
- Engage with product committees, technical teams, and OEMs
- Oversee working capital, cash flow, and profitability
- Enforce strict cost and payment discipline
- Provide quarterly dashboards to the Board
- Ensure compliance across regions
- Maintain transparency with data-driven reporting
- Drive accountability with clear KPIs and site visits
- Foster inclusion, succession planning, and professional standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- At least 10 years' experience in distribution or product supply industries with 5 years at executive level
- Entrepreneurial, commercially sharp, decisive, hands-on with pricing and operations, strong communicator and negotiator
- Background in distribution or product supply
- Knowledge with channel development
