About the position
An exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned Strategy Professional to join a leading financial institution. The successful candidate will act as a 2IC to the Head of Strategy and Innovation, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s direction at corporate level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate corporate strategy and planning processes.
- Drive strategy formulation, development, and monitoring across the organisation.
- Define strategic direction and align KPIs to the corporate plan.
- Prepare and present at Exco and Board level.
- Conduct strategy research and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and reporting against strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Financial Management, or related.
- 4–5 years’ experience in strategy planning, formulation, and development.
- Proven expertise in banking/financial services is essential.
- Strong track record in monitoring, evaluation, and corporate performance reporting.
- Excellent presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
This is a senior-level role ideal for a candidate with the confidence to influence at Exco/Board level and the ability to drive corporate planning in a complex financial environment.
