About the position
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of agriculture in South Africa. My client a leading financial institution is looking for a dynamic strategist to lead high-impact partnerships that empower farmers, unlock funding, and drive transformation across the agricultural value chain. If you thrive on building relationships and delivering results that matter-this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic partnerships across public and private sectors
- Lead implementation of agricultural support projects and initiatives
- Drive Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) programmes
- Raise funding and expand farmer outreach
- Support pre- and post-investment success
- Manage team performance and planning
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Agriculture, Commerce, Science, or Communications
- 3+ years in management; 5+ years in ESD, ideally within agriculture
- Strong stakeholder and partnership development skills
- Solid knowledge of PFMA, ESD, and agricultural value chains
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Knowledge of event planning policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Social media and digital content awareness
- Microsoft Office
