Opportunity - Manager: Quality and Safety (Air Services Division)
Permanent | Skukuza, Mpumalanga

Our client, a leading national parks, nature conservation, and tourism authority responsible for managing some of South Africa's most iconic protected areas is seeking an experienced Manager: Quality and Safety to join its Air Services Division based at Skukuza.

What You WillBe Doing:

• Lead and manage aviation safety and quality management systems.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with SACAA regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
• Oversee risk management and emergency response procedures.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with aviation authorities.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training and continuous improvement.

What You Must Have:

• National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in Safety Management, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• Pilots License
• Certification in Quality Management ISO 9001
• 10 years' industry experience, including at least 5 years in implementing and maintaining quality and safety management systems.
• Proven aviation safety and/or flight operations experience.
• Sound knowledge of SACAA regulations, SMS, and ISO 9001 standards.
