About the position
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team Sales Representatives based in Gauteng.
- Facilitate training, motivation, and performance management of the sales team.
- Coordinate and plan regional activities, including public hospital visits and trips (Free State /North West /Limpopo).
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital management, doctors, and nursing staff.
- Oversee the execution of the national contract within the public sector and ensure adherence to supply and reporting requirements.
- Conduct product presentations and training sessions to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market feedback, and competitor activity.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure team mastery of product knowledge.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, and product representation.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional presence.
- Strong organisational and facilitation abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a sales, medical, or customer-centric environment.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and results driven.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant tertiary qualification. (advantageous)
- Proven experience in a management position
- Experience working with or within the public healthcare sector (advantageous)
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence
