About the position
As the Manager: Analytics Engineering, you will be at the heart of our data evolution. You will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights by designing scalable data pipelines and managing efficient analytics operations.
Your mission is to drive innovation in data integration and feature store development, ensuring our Data Science and BI teams have the high-quality, seamless data they need to power AI/ML models and advanced reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Innovate: Oversee the creation of robust feature stores for AI/ML model development and semantic models for enhanced analytics.
Data Strategy: Align data engineering solutions with our analytics platforms while upholding world-class governance and engineering best practices.
Stakeholder Influence: Manage relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders, influencing key decision-making through data-driven insights.
Operational Excellence: Manage and optimize scalable data pipelines to empower the entire Business Banking division.
Collaboration: Foster a culture of technical excellence, enabling seamless collaboration between engineering and analytical teams.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
2+ years in a leadership or management role within an analytical team.
SQL Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and delivering complex analytical requirements.
Tools & Frameworks: Hands-on experience with:
Data Pipelining (Apache Airflow, AWS Glue).
Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Kafka).
Version Control (Git/GitHub).
Data Visualization (PowerBI).
Preferred: Strong experience within an AWS environment.
Education:
- A completed Honors Degree or higher in a relevant field.
