Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and support public sector consulting projects
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships
- Support GRAP implementation and Annual Financial Statement preparation
- Compile and maintain Fixed Asset Registers
- Lead municipal asset and liability management initiatives
- Drive mSCOA implementation and compliance activities
- Ensure MFMA and PFMA compliance
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Support business development and bid preparation activities
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Experience & Skills of the Ideal Candidate
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, or Public Finance
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a public sector finance environment
- Strong working knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, mSCOA, and GRAP
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- SAICA articles experience will be advantageous
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
