This role is critical to the organisation's performance, with responsibilities that span budgeting, costing, compliance reporting, business analysis, and strategic financial insights.
What You'll Be Driving
As the Manager: Business Analysis, you'll play a pivotal role in financial strategy, ensuring alignment between operations and overall goals. Your mission:
- Lead the development of monthly management reports for Exco and other high-level stakeholders.
- Manage the annual budgeting and costing cycle, ensuring timely delivery across national units.
- Budgeting such as zero-based budgets, forecasting, and planning expertise
- Drive costing, pricing, and capital expenditure initiatives that impact national health outcomes.
- Provide in-depth analysis of business performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with the PFMA, National Treasury, and Department of Health regulations.
- Guide financial reporting for parliamentary and provincial authorities.
- Oversee financial systems support and enable smarter, faster decision-making across the business.
Job Requirements
- BCom Degree (Finance or related - NQF Level 7) - Essential
- CIMA qualification - Highly Advantageous
- 8 years of financial experience, with at least 3 years at a managerial level
- Proven experience in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Strong command of Oracle ERP or similar systems - your tech-savvy gives you an edge
- Expertise in PFMA and government financial compliance
- Advanced computer skills - especially in database management and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership abilities
