Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering activities. This is a highly commercial role where you'll work closely with operational stakeholders to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide meaningful business insights
- Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and efficiency
- Assist leadership teams with strategic decision-making and performance reviews
- Analyse financial and operational trends to identify growth opportunities
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes across business units
- Develop financial models and scenario planning analyses
- Monitor performance against budgets and strategic targets
- Support long-term planning and commercial decision-making
- Utilise advanced Excel and reporting tools to drive efficiency
- Support the implementation of AI and automation initiatives within finance
- Improve reporting accuracy through data-driven solutions
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate manual tasks
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information
- Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities
- Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards
Job Experience and Skills Required
- CA(SA) or currently studying towards CIMA
- Minimum 1 year post-articles experience
- Strong management accounting, reporting, and analytical capability
- Environmental, waste management, industrial, or operational industry exposure advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable)
- Strong financial modelling and forecasting experience
- Interest in technology, automation, AI, and data analytics
