Management Accountant

About the position

DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:
A well-established agricultural group is looking for a meticulous CA(SA) to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. In this role, you will collaborate with the Commercial Finance Manager and CFO to ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance, and contribute to business growth.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified CA (SA)
• Completed articles with 2 - 4 years post article experience
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in report writing and presentations
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and results-driven mindset
• Experience in fast-paced, changing environments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with weekly/monthly reporting, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct sales price analysis and accurate price forecasting
• Manage product costings, ROI, and payback evaluations
• Coordinate CAPEX evaluations and project approval processes
• Oversee financial justifications (ROI, NPV, IRR)
• Manage credit insurance for new customers
• Support the Commercial FM with the Sales and Operations Planning process. Co-ordinating between sales, marketing, and operations. Balancing demand and supply.

• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work under time pressure in seasonal peak periods
• Adaptability in a continuously evolving environment
• Training will be provided for in-house production software
