Management Accountant

About the position

We are seeking a Cost Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting and financial analysis. They will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and providing management with insightful financial reports to aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis to identify and control expenses.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts based on historical data and future projections.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
• Provide management with financial reports and recommendations for improving cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in cost management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CIMA certification or in progress of completing.
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
